I just had the most delicious lunch while waiting for the conveyancer. I have a bad habit of arriving to appointments unnecessarily early, but this time I was early even by my standards. So I decided it would be weird for me to sit outside the office of my local conveyancing lawyers for several hours. That’s when I decided that I should go to the restaurant they had right next door.
At the time, I wasn’t overly sure what cuisine the restaurant was offering because the name of it was really generic and it wasn’t decorated in line with any specific country, that I knew of. So I was pretty much going into this restaurant blind. I wasn’t expecting much, other than finding myself a good place to hide from the conveyancers. I didn’t want them to know how eager I was to chat with them and so hiding in a restaurant for three hours seemed like the best option. What I didn’t realise at the time though, was that spending those three hours in the restaurant was the absolute highlight of my day – if not my week.
As I wasn’t sure what was going to be on the menu, I sat down and just asked the waitress to bring out a variety of small dishes for me to graze on over the next few hours. She looked perplexed when I mentioned that I was planning on staying at the restaurant for so long, but as she had good customer service skills, she didn’t question it.
Anyway, I just wanted to say that if you’re looking for the best food in the world, go to this cafe next to the conveyancer in the Elwood area. My extremely positive experience with the conveyancer, where we spoke about the local area and they offered expert advice, was somehow outshone by how good this restaurant was. And that’s saying something because the conveyancer was so incredibly professional. I will certainly be going back to her for conveyancing services.
