Ooh, look at this lovely old blog of mine! I do so love to blow the dust off of it every now and then to check in on the old lot, see how everybody is doing. We do so love our little scrapes and tumbles, don’t we?! I suppose that’s one of the benefits of becoming an aged person – everybody you know is doing it at the same time!
I actually have a quick update I thought I’d share with you all this lovely winter’s evening, if nobody minded? Oh, right, you lot can’t see me typing this until I hit that big ‘Publish’ button in the corner. I remember my nephew telling me something like that. I haven’t the foggiest clue which nephew it was, though…
Yes, my amusing anecdote, of course. I needed my very own rotator cuff repair! Melbourne trip and everything! Poor old Betsy wasn’t up for the train ride – she did so love the train when we were newlyweds – but I had a nephew with me for the whole way, making sure I got to the doctor’s clinic in Melbourne without any issues. He had to swap with his sister when we got there, to get to work I think. What was it he does for work…
A bar! He works in a bar, my young Henry. Harry? Harvey?
Agh, you don’t know him anyway.
So my lovely niece and I were on a tram, heading into Melbourne proper for the visit, and who did we run into? Barry, himself – a celebrity around this blog, if I remember correctly! We had a great chat! He was putting me at ease, telling me about the shoulder arthroscopy procedure he had not too many years ago now, from a similar doctor than the woman I was about to visit.
After that, I had a lovely consultation with my own doctor – soon it’ll be time for the main event!
Regards,
Wallace
